About the Job

To support our direct-to-consumer team with brand management on online marketplaces such as Amazon and Walmart. This role will focus on the management of brands supply chain by using data to help analyze forecasting, sales, and overall performance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
  • Analyze data to help create forecast and replenishment reports for each assigned brand.
  • Use data interpretations to develop and communicate inventory flow and replenishment recommendations.
  • Partner with key stakeholders on day-to-day operations including production planning, logistics and overall brand execution.
  • Analyze business and seasonal trends to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Prepare and be able to communicate sales and inventory reports to internal and external partners.
  • Develop reporting best practices to track fulfillment accountability, variances, and execution of KPI’s.
  • Efficiently diagnose issues on marketplace platforms and take appropriate action to solve.

Applicant Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail, eCommerce or related industry preferred.
  • Experience with Marketplace platforms such as Amazon or Walmart strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerBi or other related databased strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to commute to our corporate office in Mendota Heights, MN

About the Job

To manage the Amazon Seller/Vendor Central account for our most important direct sales clients. Along with building relationships with clients, this position will be responsible for implementation of innovative brand strategy, search engine optimization, inventory management and brand analytics.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
  • Manage multiple brand accounts by building strong relationships, resolving client issues, and ensuring brand content is up to date on marketplace.
  • Monitor analytics such as sales, inventory, feedback, and product lines to ensure efficient increase in traffic to landing pages.
  • Maintain ongoing brand plan that aligns with partner objectives, metrics, and performance measures.
  • Ensure brand content is continually updated to improve brand position and growth in sales.
  • Proactively identify, address, and solve customer issues impacting marketplace reviews or experience.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure successful launch/implementation of brands.
  • Create ad-hoc reports when needed

About the Job

The Ecommerce Growth Advertising Specialist owns and executes on all ecommerce related advertising projects related to their portfolio of brands and channels. This position develops and manages advertising campaigns and initiatives while advising the Powerplay management and marketing teams on key optimizations to drive profitable growth. This critical role has a direct impact on brand growth and is measured against revenue and conversion improvement goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage advertising campaigns and/or work alongside agency partners on Amazon Marketplace, Retail Media Networks and Google for brands including consumer electronics, gaming, apparel, home goods, and outdoor/recreation.
  • ·Leverage Amazon and Retail Media Sponsored Product, Sponsored Brand, and DSP strategies based on product positioning to drive growth.
  • Drive Google Shopping, Paid Search and Display strategies based on product positioning and consumer journey to drive awareness and conversion.
  • Iterate strategies to optimize towards spend, profitability and/or impression targets.
  • Monitor and rapidly adjust campaigns based on market feedback.
  • Bring advertising learnings to Brand Managers and Marketing Team and participate in strategy development.
  • Use data sets including traditional ROAS/ACOS metrics as well as proprietary data reporting to optimize spend allocation based on unique brand/product goals.
  • Collaborate in Keyword research and product display page and on-site SEO to drive both sponsored and organic growth.
  • Perform SWOT analysis of competitor advertising and content strategies and develop actionable suggestions based on investigations.
  • Participate in continuing education on Amazon, advertising, and market trends to maintain Powerplay’s position as a marketplace expert. Share on-going learnings with the team quarterly.
  • Perform a Brand Performance Audit leveraging product marketing, content optimization and advertising best practices as part of the brand onboarding process. Onboard brands with existing advertising history and analyze campaigns for optimization opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly analysis and reporting as directed.

About the Direct Team:

  • This candidate would be jumping into the fast-paced ecommerce world with a team of experts who specialize in launching and growing brands in the marketplace and direct to consumer channel, including Amazon, Walmart+, eBay, Shopify and more.
  • This entrepreneurial-minded team is strategic and analytical, to help emerging and established brands break into the eCommerce space and win.
  • We currently represent 40+ brands across ecommerce, including brands like GoPro, Minnetonka Moccasins, Monster, Nextbase and more!

Applicant Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Business or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in retail or ecommerce related fields and related industries.
  • Experience with Amazon advertising console required
  • Experience with Helium 10 and Jungle Scout a plus.
  • Must have strong organizational and communication skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to use Microsoft Suite and tools.
  • Must be able to commute to our corporate office in Mendota Heights, MN.
