Job Description:

We are looking for a qualified Retail Operations Coordinator to join our operations team. The operations coordinator is responsible for supporting the Retail Operations Analyst on daily activities. The coordinator needs to be proactive, goal-oriented and efficient in all key responsibilities while actively problem solving to find solutions. You are to ensure high levels of organization, communication, time management and customer service to our internal and external partners. 

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Expert in all systems used to provide support
  • Owner of the item setup/maintenance process
  • Website content and asset management
  • Partner with operations on completion of forms
  • Sample management for the operations/sales team
  • Owner of purchase order management/communication
  • Promotional funding management and analytics
  • Completion of vendor compliance reporting and researching issues

Job Description:

The Retail Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting the operations and sales initiatives of the company. They are to be proactive and efficient in all duties utilizing excellent communication and time management skills. Daily client management is needed by a candidate that is extremely organized and has exceptional time management. 

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative forecasting and inventory management
  • Management of promotional activity; including the implementation, analysis, tracking of spending to budget and entry of funding
  • Business sales performance recaps with sales results, identifying trends and providing actionable insights
  • Liaison across internal and external teams providing communication updates and supporting the day to day business needs
  • Expert in all internal and retail partners systems

Job Description:

We are looking for a driven, collaborative, analytical and detailed oriented Ecommerce Manager to join the Powerplay Direct Content Marketing Team in Minneapolis, MN.

Powerplay Direct helps brands and manufacturers of all sizes properly bring their product to market via the Amazon Seller Central channel. We have success helping large brands with an existing presence on Amazon fix what could be a damaged channel due to issues that can arise from not honoring MAP pricing, non-gated third-party sellers, inefficient listings, and inventory supply issues. We have also had success helping small brands establish a presence on Amazon and utilize it as a platform to launch their products into a well-positioned place in otherwise saturated markets.

As an Ecommerce Manager, you’ll get the opportunity to manage the front-end content and marketing activities to optimize and grow brands performance across the ecommerce landscape.  You will work closely with the sales team, supply chain, finance and marketing to help plan and execute the business starting from the manufacturer to the consumer.

The Powerplay Direct team is responsible for developing and identifying the right product, working collaboratively with our manufacturers and brands to order and fulfill product, monitor and maintain Amazon listings and reviews, and help develop and drive the business KPI, tools and processes.  As a Business Analyst in inventory and operations, you’ll get the opportunity to quickly impact the business and work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing communications activities for specified product lines / Brands, involving case management and the coordination and execution of direct marketing activities, including but not limited to ecommerce listing development and optimization, storefront management, enhanced brand content, email and social networking marketing communication venues.
  • Works with outside and inside resources in marketing, sales and operations in the creation of business communications.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of marketing materials and ability to abide by all Brand Guidelines and Amazon content requirements, guidelines and restrictions.
  • Strategically create and enhance product photos to illustrate unique features and visually engage views to improve and drive conversion rates.
  • Shoot, edit and optimize product photography and videos when necessary for product detail page optimizing or other marketing efforts.
  • Troubleshoot and work with Amazon Support, opening cases when facing issues updating content
  • Execute and manage split testing (A/B) testing to improve conversion rates by gathering conversion data and strategically testing elements of the product listing to continue to improve converse rates
  • Track & maintain conversion growth results on a bi-weekly basis to share with Brands in reporting to demonstrate the increase of sales
  • Maintain internal site with process updates, on-boarding documents, marketing materials.

 

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field or with relevant experience
  • 2-4 years of experience with some Amazon platform experience
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, Excel, Microsoft Office and Google Drive
  • Ability to effectively communicate across both verbal and written platforms.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented, organized and able to meet deadlines while working on multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be located in Minneapolis, MN

  • Develop reporting to track fulfillment variances and execution of KPI to build ordering and fulfillment accountability best practices.
  • Analyze business trends and identify opportunities to drive efficiency and process improvement.  Balance inventory investment with consumer demand.
  • Prepare sales & inventory reports for internal and external leaders.

Job Description:

We’re looking for a determined sales partner with a self-motivated, hungry for business attitude and Retail experience. This individual must have an entrepreneurial mindset and show that they have the means to push themselves to their greatest abilities. The location of the role is somewhat flexible.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Representing Powerplay Retail’s products and accounts, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs
  • Coordinate with the Managing Partner to ensure weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas are being achieved through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics; performing market research and regular competitor monitoring
  • Generate leads and build relationships by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets
  • Develop and implement account action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field
  • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities
